Child's
View Montessori School is based on the philosophy of
Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator who recognized
that children's best learning takes place through their senses and
their physical activity within their environment. She saw
education as "an aid to life"--not just the learning of
academic material.
We
believe that all children hold within themselves an unlimited
potential. In a nurturing environment of respect and safety,
with specially trained teachers and material scientifically designed
to follow the child's natural development, each child is given the
freedom and the opportunity to express and fulfill that potential.
Child's
View has a year-around Children's House Montessori Program for 2 1/2
to 6 year olds. We have an Elementary Summer Program for 6-10
year olds. An extended before and after care program to support
your family's busy schedule is also available.
