Montessori Summer Elementary Program
from June 21st through August 27th, 2010
Child’s View Montessori School offers an exciting summer program for children age 6 through 10. Each week we have a unique theme to spark your child’s imagination and learning. We include field trips, arts and crafts, music and lots of other activities. You pick from any 3 to 11 weeks during the summer and have your child join the fun.
Our goal at Child’s View is to provide a safe and fun summer program. A program that maintains your child’s learning skills while allowing an opportunity to laugh and enjoy friendships.
We are open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Both half day or full day program is available.
During the summer our classroom extends to the outdoors and the world around us. In this special program, your child will enjoy the many activities which present themselves during the summer. Children enjoy field trips and other group activities, in addition to the freedom to choose activities which meet their own individual needs, interests and abilities, then to work at those activities at their own pace.
We believe children possess a natural love of learning and that learning is fun. Your child’s naturally inquisitive mind will aid in opening new doors for discovery. Children are guided in exploring the world for themselves, developing the power to think for themselves and to meet new situations with gained ability and understanding. We will challenge your child to think creatively about themselves, the environment, our culture and world.
Some of the activities your child may choose from include:
- Field Trips
- Arts & Crafts
- Reading & Creative Writing
- Science Experiments
- Outdoor Fun
- Cultural & Nature Adventures
- Music
- And many more...
We look forward to the opportunity to work with your child -- and you! We invite you to visit our school and would be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning how Child’s View will benefit your child.
